Dear Family and Friends,

Our Alaskan summer, if you can call it that this year, is quickly coming to an end. We recently received a letter from the new principal of our correspondence school stating his hope that we were able to “enjoy all four days of our dynamic Alaskan summer”! It really has been quite cool and rainy, even by Alaska standards. Long time Alaska residents have told us there hasn’t been a summer like this in over twenty years. We were even blessed by new snow on the mountains in July! Needless to say, our wood stove has not been sitting idle.

This past Saturday the last group of our summer campers boarded the busses to return home. Many campers
made decisions for Christ this summer. Please pray for them, that they will find Christian fellowship and continue to grow in their faith in the months ahead. Also, pray for our counselors and other summer staff who are returning home to prepare for college or new jobs this fall.

We also said goodbye to several of our full-time staff this past weekend. Jamy and Lisa Landis (and their three little girls) are moving to Montana where Jamy will be the new Executive Director at Big Sky Bible Camp. Chris Nelson is also going to Big Sky Bible Camp where she will work in the office. And Ted and Marie Sternhardt are headed back to their home in Florida after serving on the staff here for the past year. Please pray for each of them, for safe travels and for smooth transitions. They will truly be missed.

And speaking of transitions, our family is having our share of them this summer as well. Micheal and Melissa were married in June and are living in the Valley where Micheal is employed as a computer tech for the Mat-Su school district. Matthew graduated from high school in May and will be leaving August 23rd to attend North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. We will be leaving Victory at the end of August. We have found a place to live, a two-bedroom apartment in a home close to Palmer. Jim will be commuting to Anchorage three days a week for welding classes at UAA. Please pray that he will be able to find part time employment as well. Peggy is looking forward to concentrating on homeschooling Maria and catching up on all those unfinished projects!

We are grateful for our time spent serving with Victory Ministries and are so thankful to each of you for your prayers and support that have made it possible. We pray that you have each felt a part of the ministry here during the last five years through our letters and pictures. Victory will continue to accept financial support for us until the 25th of September. We’d appreciate your continued prayer for the ministry here at Victory as well as for our family as we continue to pray for all of you. We’d love for you to keep in touch. Our new address at the end of August will be: 4805 N Slumber Drive, Palmer, AK 99645. Thank you so much for all you’ve done! God bless you all.

In His Service,
Jim & Peggy Eymann
